Federal Loan Repayment Application Changes
The National Health Service Corps recently announced a change in the application deadline for the Loan Repayment Program. The deadline is now January 31; applications were previously due in March. The Program is similar to the WI Health Professions Loan Assistance Program—education loan repayment awards are given to health care providers who agree to work in shortage areas.   The Corps also provides a database of eligible job opportunities to help you identify qualifying employers. Of course, you can also contact the Office of Rural Health’s physician, dentist and physical therapist recruiters.
