Grants and Conferences-November/December

Here are several conferences and grant opportunities coming up in the next month.   MetaStar, Wisconsin’s Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), will host the Pressure Ulcer Prevention and Reduction Learning Session Outcomes Congress on December 2 in Stevens Point.  You’ll learn best practices for pressure ulcer prevention and treatment.  Continuing Education units are available.

Education Loan Assistance Program Extended

The Wisconsin Health Professions Loan Assistance Program (LAP), which awards education loan repayment funds to certain health care providers working in shortage areas, will continue to accept applications past the November 2 deadline.
