This blog is written by Marsha Siik, Dentist Placement Program Manager at the WI Office of Rural Health.
Located in the University of Wisconsin’s School of Medicine and Public Health, our program works to identify statewide gaps in dental care, and match dentists seeking work in Wisconsin to fill those needs. In 3 years our program has placed 32 dentists in Wisconsin communities at community health center clinics which care for all people, regardless of income. We also work with dentists in rural private practice situations who seek dentists to join their practices.
