Community Safety Fair

  • Implementation grant to partner with fire, police, EMS and public health agencies to inform the public of proper emergency preparedness, vehicle and water safety, and other issues and distribute bicycle helmets and other safety devices, through a Community Safety Fair.

Cardiocerebral Resuscitation Training for the General Public

  • Implementation grant to educate the public about the utility of CCR (hands-only CPR), train members of the public in CCR and collect data on its effectiveness.

Hudson Memorial Hospital
Hudson Community Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Program

  • Implementation grant to reduce the time to defibrillation and increase the chance of survival for people with heart-related emergencies in the Hudson area by placing PAD units in public places and training the public in their use.  

Iron County Health Department
Project Zero  

  • Implementation grant to reduce underage alcohol use in Iron County through a coordinated, community-wide prevention and education program.

Langlade Hospital
Community Partners for Cardiovascular Health

  • Implementation grant to reduce health risks for Langlade County residents by increasing capacity to respond to cardiovascular events through placing AEDs in high-priority locations and by providing AED/CPR training to community residents.

Memorial Hospital of Boscobel
Pediatric Trauma Prevention

  • Implementation grant to reduce pediatric trauma by increasing provider ability to respond to pediatric trauma incidents and increase public understanding and use of child protective equipment.

Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County
Stroke Awareness and Outcome Improvement

  • Implementation grant to decrease death and disability associated with strokes through education of the public, hospital staff, EMS technicians and long term care facility staff in Lafayette County.

  • Implementation grant to improve the survival rate of sudden cardiac arrest patients by enhancing the EMS systems in Adams County.
