Hospital Perinatal HIV Learning Collaborative - Health Research & Educational Trust
The RFP is to identify participants for a Hospital Perinatal HIV Learning Collaborative, with special emphasis on engaging physicians in HIV testing and linking infected patients to care. The collaborative is open to Sole Community Hospitals and Rural Referral Center Hospitals. The Collaborative is being created to identify and advance the ways in which hospitals can increase perinatal HIV testing rates and collaborate with physicians, public health departments, and other partners to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV. The Health Resources and Services Administration is now accepting new applications to support loan repayment for bonafide educational debt for primary care medical, dental and certain behavioral/mental health clinicians who want to work at National Health Service Corps (NHSC) sites. In exchange for the loan repayment assistance, clinicians serve for two years with the Corps.
