Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program – USDA Business and Cooperative Programs

The purpose of the RMAP program is to support the development and ongoing success of rural microentrepreneurs and microenterprises. Direct loans and grants are made to selected Microenterprise Development Organizations.  Applications for participating in this Program will be accepted on an on-going basis, but will be awarded on a quarterly basis. For Fiscal Year 2010, applications must be received by August 16, 2010 (extended from July 16) for consideration for award under Fiscal Year 2010 and September 30, 2010  for consideration for award for funds available in Fiscal Year 2010,  but not obligated and, assuming availability of funds, by December 31, 2010, for the first quarter in FY 2011.  [Funding]


National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program - HRSA

The Health Resources and Services Administration is now accepting new applications to support loan repayment for bonafide educational debt for primary care medical, dental and certain behavioral/mental health clinicians who want to work at National Health Service Corps (NHSC) sites. Rural Hospital Facilities ARRA Grant - U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service

Local Implementation of WISCOM – Wisconsin Office of Justice Assistance

Local, county and tribal units of government are encouraged to submit concept papers regarding agency readiness and interest in replacing existing communications systems with a WISCOM system for daily operations. Agencies selected through this process will receive technical assistance from the State’s engineering consultant in developing local engineering studies and assessing implementation costs.  [Funding]
